Chinese table tennis star Sun Yingsha politely declined a cake offered by Qatari opponent Maryam Ali after their women’s singles Round of 32 match at the 2026 Asian Games. In a viral video, Maryam, reportedly celebrating her birthday, brought out a cake while posing with Sun, who agreed to the photograph but declined the cake.
