Chinese research ship back in Maldivian waters after 2 months

A high-tech Chinese research vessel has returned to Maldivian waters, two months after it spent a week docked at different ports there. The reason for Xiang Yang Hong 03's return hasn't been disclosed. When it'd docked in Maldives in February, government said the vessel had done so to "make a port call, for the rotation of its personnel and replenishment".
