Chinese robot sprints 100 metres faster than world's fastest human, then crashes
The Chinese robot 'Lightning' ran the 100-metre sprint in just 9.32 seconds, beating the world's fastest human Usain Bolt's record of 9.58 seconds. The robot, built by smartphone brand Honor, was seen crashing into a cushion after the race and falling down. Lightning reached a peak speed of 14.5 metres/second during the preparatory test event for World Humanoid Robot Games.
