Chinese rocket debris puts 1,000 satellites, other items at risk: Report
The breakup of China's Long March 6A rocket's upper stage in space reportedly created over 700 pieces of debris, which could potentially collide with over 1,000 satellites and other objects. The debris cloud, created at roughly 800 km in altitude, will last several years, Reuters reported citing analysts. The rocket successfully launched 18 internet satellites into orbit before the explosion.
