Chinese scientists develop Avatar-like glow-in-the-dark plants

Chinese scientists have unveiled Avatar-like genetically engineered plants using genes from fireflies and luminous fungi capable of glowing in the dark. Scientists say this breakthrough could transform urban lighting and tourism. "These plants don't need electricity. They only need water and fertiliser. They save energy, reduce emissions, and can light up cities at night," they said.
