Chinese startup recalls smart glasses over burn hazard, death risk

Chinese startup INMO has recalled about 1,643 AIR3 smart glasses in the US because the left temple can overheat during extended use, posing a burn hazard and risk of serious injury or death. Priced at $900-$1,300, the glasses offer AI translation and media streaming. INMO has received 10 overheating reports, including burning sensations on the face and left ear.
