Chinese tech helps paralysed 12-year-old Russian girl walk again

A 12-year-old Russian girl paralysed from the waist down in a car accident stood and walked with assistive equipment after undergoing closed-loop spinal cord neural interface surgery in China. In April, she was hospitalised and underwent the innovative procedure using a fully self-developed Chinese neural interface system. Her treatment was coordinated with help from Russian Embassy in China.
