Chinmayi Sripada defends Rahman against claim that he refused to sing Vande Mataram

Singer Chinmayi Sripada defended AR Rahman after a journalist claimed he refused to sing “Vande Mataram” during an interview. "He sings Maa Tujhe Salaam at almost every concert…everyone who has attended the concerts knows this,” she posted on X. Sripada added that Rahman may not have felt like singing the day of the interview, which she said was perfectly okay.
