Chipmaker Marvell to lay off 320 employees globally

US-based chipmaker Marvell Technology will lay off about 320 employees, or 4% of its global workforce due to current slowdown in the industry, according to the company's statement to media outlets. As per SCMP, the layoffs will majorly affect Marvell's R&D team in China. The company also cut some roles in China last year.
