Chips in all mobiles, cars to be Gujarat-made in 2 yrs: Vaishnaw

Union IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw during a recent address said within next two years, all mobiles, cars, fridges, air conditioners and computers will have made-in-Gujarat chips. "The country with semiconductor industry will progress in future," he said. "To set up the semiconductor industry, chemical industry is important...In our Gujarat, we have a big chemical centre in Dahej," he added.
