Chloé Zhao becomes 2nd woman to win Best Director Oscar in Academy's 93-yr history

Chloé Zhao became the first woman of colour to be named Best Director at the 93rd Academy Awards held today. She is only the second woman ever to win Oscar in this category in the Academy's 93-year history, after Kathryn Bigelow, who won in 2010 for 'The Hurt Locker'. Zhao won the award for the film 'Nomadland'.
