Chris Ayres, voice behind Dragon Ball Z's Frieza, dies at 56

American actor-scriptwriter Chris Ayres, who voiced the character of Frieza in 'Dragon Ball Z', died aged 56 on Monday, after battling COPD and emphysema. Ayres' girlfriend Krystal LaPorte confirmed the news of his demise on Wednesday via Twitter. Sean Schemmel, who voiced Goku and King Kai, mourned his demise, writing, "Can't stop crying about the loss of my dear friend."
