Chris Brown avoids jail time for attacking music producer at UK nightclub

US singer Chris Brown avoided jail time in Britain on Monday after being sentenced for attacking music producer Abe Diaw with a tequila bottle at a London nightclub in 2023. A London court handed Brown an eight-month prison sentence, suspended for 12 months. He had pleaded guilty to a charge of affray in July but denied the more serious charges.
