Christ School bars students from applying tilak, bindi or mehendi in J&K; protest erupts

Several Hindu organisations, including Sanatan Dharam Sabha, Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal, staged a protest outside Christ School in J&K's Digwar over allegations that the school barred students from applying tilak, bindi or mehendi on campus. The organisations called it an insult to Hindu religious sentiments. The school principal Sujith Mathew apologised after the uproar.
