Christa Pike discharged after surviving execution attempt
Christa Pike, the only known person to survive a US execution attempt, has been discharged from hospital and returned to Deborah K. Johnson Rehabilitation Center in Nashville. She survived two doses of pentobarbital during Tennessee's Sept. 30 lethal injection attempt. Tennessee Governor has halted all executions for the year pending an independent investigation.
