CIA classifies VHP, Bajrang Dal as militant religious outfits

The VHP and Bajrang Dal have been classified as militant religious outfits under the section 'Political pressure groups and leaders' by the US' Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). Further, the agency has classified the RSS as a 'nationalist organisation' in the recently updated World Factbook. The Bajrang Dal is seeking legal advice to counter the move, said National Convenor Manoj Verma.
