CIA had key intel on 9/11 mastermind before attack, failed to connect dots: Report

CIA had received key intelligence ahead of 9/11 that a person using the name 'Mukhtar' was recruiting operatives against US. CIA had also previously identified another alias associated with Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, who later became the mastermind of the 2001 terror attack. However, the CIA reportedly failed to connect the dots that the different aliases referred to the same individual.
