CID summons Abhishek Banerjee after TMC MLA claims his signature was forged

The West Bengal CID on Saturday summoned Mamata Banerjee's nephew and TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee in connection with a fake signature case. This comes after TMC MLA Baharul Islam had claimed that his signature backing Sobhandeb Chattopadhyay as the Leader of Opposition (LoP) in the West Bengal Assembly was forged. Abhishek Banerjee has been called for questioning on Monday.
