CID to probe into Rahul Arunoday Banerjee's death by drowning

West Bengal CM Suvendu Adhikari has handed over the investigation into the death of actor Rahul Arunoday Banerjee to the state CID following demands from his family, PTI reported. Banerjee reportedly died after drowning in Odisha while shooting for a Bengali soap. Police had said large quantities of seawater and sand entered his lungs and food passage, leading to suffocation.
