Cipla prices its remdesivir 'Cipremi' at ₹4,000 a vial, lowest in India

Cipla has priced its generic version of remdesivir, Cipremi, at ₹4,000 per 100 mg vial, the lowest in India for the experimental COVID-19 treatment so far. The drugmaker said it is aiming to supply over 80,000 vials within the first month. Hetero Labs' remdesivir version Covifor costs ₹5,400 per vial while Mylan priced Desrem at ₹4,800.
