Cipla promoters to sell ₹2,000 crore stake to exit firm: Report

Cipla promoters Samina Hamied and Rumana Hamied will sell stakes worth ₹2,004 crore through block deals on Monday to exit the pharma company, NDTV Profit reported. The promoters will sell 1.39 crore shares, amounting to a 1.72% stake in the firm, at ₹1,442 per share. This implies a roughly 6% discount from Friday's closing price of ₹1,532.
