Cisco fires nearly 700 employees in US, including 2 VPs: Report

Telecommunications company Cisco laid off nearly 700 employees in December in California, SFGATE reported. As per the report, 371 employees, including two vice presidents, at its headquarters in San Jose were among those affected by the layoffs. Media reports in December said that the company has started laying off over 4,000 employees or about 5% of its workforce.
