Cisco to cut 7% of workforce in 2nd round of layoffs this year

Cisco has announced the plans to cut around 7% of its global workforce in its second round of layoffs this year. The layoff could impact around 6,000 employees. Cisco said the restructuring plan will allow the company to invest in key growth opportunities. In February, the communications technology company laid off around 4,000 employees.
