CISF rolls out new digital Lightweight Field Combat Dress for 2 lakh personnel

CISF has introduced a new digital Lightweight Field Combat Dress (LFCD) for its 2 lakh personnel, with a two-year phase-wise transition ending October 1, 2028. The new fabric shifts to 80% cotton, 20% polyester. Personnel must procure cloth only via authorised KPKBs. Associated accessories like berets, pagri, and nameplates have also been revised.
