CJI to inaugurate India's first victim rights centre in Patna

Chief Justice of India Surya Kant will inaugurate India's first victim rights centre at Bihar State Legal Services Authority in Patna on September 26. The pilot project offers crime victims single-point access to legal aid, medical help, and compensation. A Transgender Helpline will also be launched. The project runs 12 months in Patna before possible statewide expansion.
