CJP's Ranka and Das' bail hearing held for 10 minutes after 5-hour wait

Representatives of CJP functionaries Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka spent nearly five hours waiting at a police station on Sunday for a hearing on their bail after they were sent to police custody on October 14. CJP said the hearing was then held for just 10 minutes before the special executive magistrate cited receiving threats and recused from the case.
