Clash erupts between police & Sikh protesters in Ambala, DSP attacked with 'farsa'

Tensions erupted near Gurdwara Panjokhra Sahib in Ambala after Sikh protesters sought the arrest of International Anti-Khalistani Terrorist Front chief Gursimran Singh Mand. SP Ajit Singh Shekhawat said a DSP was attacked with a 'farsa' (battle-axe) and his thumb could be cut off. The protesters are demanding the release of two persons arrested for allegedly assaulting Mand on August 7.
