Class 11 TN girl who threw baby gave birth in school toilet, cut umbilical cord with pen

The 16-year-old Class 11 girl, who allegedly threw her newborn baby in bushes in Tamil Nadu's Cuddalore district, gave birth alone in her school's toilet, police said. "The girl allegedly cut the umbilical cord herself using a pen and came back to the classroom," an official said. The baby's body was found by another student.
