Class 9 boy attacks fellow students at Karnataka school; 1 dead

A violent attack by a class 9 student in a Gurukul residential school in Karnataka's Ballari distrct caused the death of one student and left eight students injured. According to police, the incident occurred late on Saturday, 7 March, after students ate dinner. When they were asleep in the hostel, the boy allegedly attacked them with an iron bed rod.
