Claude launches Cowork to help users edit, plan and automate files using AI

Claude launched Cowork to help users use the AI chatbot for editing, planning and automating files on users' personal computers. Users can give Claude access to a particular folder, allowing the AI to carry out multiple tasks independently, like reorganising downloads by sorting and renaming each file, or creating a new spreadsheet. Cowork can complete tasks that require internet too.
