Clay granules passed off as mustard seeds in MP procurement scam

Clay granules were passed off as mustard seeds in MSP procurement scam in Madhya Pradesh. The fake seeds were dropped in a bowl of water after which they dissolved, melting into mud. NAFED had auctioned the stored mustard to a buyer in Chhattisgarh. The fraud came to light after the buyer complained about the quality of the seeds.
