Climate change worsened 58% of infectious diseases in humans: Study

Climate hazards like floods, heat waves and drought caused as a result of climate have worsened 58% of known infectious diseases in humans, including malaria, hantavirus, cholera and anthrax, a study stated. While flooding sickens people through disease-carrying mosquitos, rats and deer, warming oceans and heat waves taint seafood. Moreover, droughts bring bats carrying viral infections to people.
