The Anabas testudineus, or climbing perch, is a fish known for its sharp, spiny fins. Native to South and Southeast Asia, it can survive briefly out of water. These dangerous fins can cause severe choking. The fish was involved in a recent tragic incident in Tamil Nadu, where a man died after a fish became lodged in his throat.
