Cloth left in woman's abdomen during delivery at Gr Noida, FIR filed

An FIR has been filed against six doctors of private hospital after a woman alleged that half-metre-long surgical cloth was left in her abdomen during 2023 delivery, causing severe pain for 18 months, police said. Her condition went undiagnosed until a lump was detected, leading to surgery on April 22, 2025. CMO Narendra Kumar said action will follow court directions.
