Cloudflare to fire 1,100 employees, says 'You'll get the message in an hour'

Cloudflare will fire 1,100 employees to restructure its operations around AI, an announcement made hours after it reported 20% YoY rise in profit to $455.6 million (₹4,300 crore). An internal memo noted that the company's AI usage has risen by over 600% in just three months. "Within the next hour, every member...will receive an email...clarifying how this...affects them," Cloudflare said.
