CM deposits ₹5,000 in accounts of 1.31 crore women ahead of TN polls

Ahead of the Tamil Nadu Assembly polls, CM MK Stalin credited ₹5,000, which includes ₹3,000 as advance allocation for February, March and April and ₹2,000 as a special summer assistance, to 1.31 crore beneficiaries under the Kalaignar Women's Rights Scheme. He also announced that if re-elected, the monthly financial aid of ₹1,000 would be increased to ₹2,000.
