CM Mamata reacts as exit polls give BJP edge in Bengal, says 'TMC will cross 226 seats'

West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee rejected exit polls after five of the six exit polls predicted BJP's victory in the Assembly elections. Stating that TMC will cross 226 seats in the 294-member Assembly, she said, "Exit poll predictions were aired at the BJP's instruction to demoralise TMC workers." She also urged TMC workers to be alert on the counting day.
