CM Mamata starts dharna against EC as 63.66 lakh names deleted in SIR in WB

West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee and other TMC leaders launched a dharna (sit-in) in Kolkata against the Election Commission's SIR exercise, following which 63.66 lakh names were deleted from the state's electoral roll. "I'll expose the BJP-EC conspiracy to disenfranchise Bengali voters," she said from the dharna stage. This issue would be central to TMC's campaign for the Assembly polls.
