CM Mamata threatens CRPF in Bengal, tells women 'use kitchen equipment'; EC seeks report

West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee purportedly threatened CRPF personnel during a speech in Darjeeling, following which the Election Commission sought a report from the West Bengal chief electoral officer. According to a video, she asked women and girls to use kitchen equipment to "deal with necessary situations". West Bengal will vote in two phases on April 23 and 29.
