CM VD Satheesan keeps 35 ministries in new Kerala Cabinet; Chennithala gets Home

The Kerala government announced the distribution of portfolios in the newly formed Cabinet, with CM VD Satheesan keeping 35 departments, including Finance, and Law. Congress leader Ramesh Chennithala, who was considered a contender for CM's post, has been given the Home Ministry. PK Kunhalikutty, whose party emerged as the second-largest constituent of UDF, has been assigned the IT portfolio.
