Co-founder steals ₹47.7 crore from his own firm & then erases the proof before quitting in US

Bitquery has sued its Co-founder, 57-year-old Dionysios “Dean” Karakitsos, for stealing ₹47.7 crore from his own crypto firm. Karakitsos began stealing in 2022, when investors poured ₹76.3 crore into Bitquery, and told investors the company had ₹47-57 crore when it actually had only ₹19 crore. Karakitsos erased 194 expense records to wipe off evidence days before he resigned in 2025.
