Co-pilot planned Flydubai attack before joining airline: Report

The Flydubai co-pilot Hamam Al-Hammami, who stabbed his captain, Indian pilot Smit Machchhar, in a suspected attempt to crash the plane, had planned the attack even before joining the airline, Reuters reported, citing sources. He had previously been barred from flying in Oman over extremist concerns. The incident occurred on Flydubai Flight-1073 from Dubai to Tel Aviv on September 30.
