Coal from funeral pyres sold in restaurants & weddings to cook food in Bihar: Report

Coal from funeral pyres is being supplied to local hotels, restaurants and even weddings to prepare food amid LPG supply issues in Bihar, Dainik Bhaskar has reported. The report added that unburnt coal is being taken out in places like Patna's Bans Ghat and Gulbi Ghat. Allegedly, the coal is taken out of the pyre before the body's complete cremation.
