Coal India received a Letter of Award for a 600 MW solar power plant at Jalaun Solar Park, Uttar Pradesh, with an estimated project cost of ₹2,831.11 crore and a tariff of ₹2.73 per kWh. June coal offtake increased 7.5% to 65.8 million tonnes, while April–June FY27 offtake reached 197.7 million tonnes.
