Cochin airport suspends operations till midnight due to heavy rains

The Cochin International Airport has shut all operations till Thursday midnight as a precautionary measure after heavy rains caused waterlogging. Flights coming to the airport have been diverted, an airport spokesperson said. The operations were suspended as there was a rise in water level in Periyar river and a canal adjacent to the airport, reported PTI.
