Cockroach Janta Party lands in trademark battle, 2 applications filed for same name

Two trademark applications have been filed for the 'Cockroach Janta Party' name, days after the political movement became a talking point on social media. The party was launched after CJI Surya Kant likened those entering the legal profession with bogus degrees to cockroaches. CJP's founder is Abhijeet Dipke, who is currently in US where he went to finish his studies.
