Cockroaches found in food served at Panjab University canteen

Cockroaches were reportedly found in food served at one of the canteens of the Panjab University in Chandigarh, leading to massive protests by students. Subsequently, authorities inspected several canteens on the campus premises. During the inspection, cockroaches were found in freezers containing vegetables and noodles, while some food items were reported to have gone bad due to improper storage.
