Co-founder of viral Ice Bucket Challenge dies aged 37
Patrick Quinn, the co-founder of the Ice Bucket Challenge, died on Sunday aged 37 in the US, seven years after he was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's disease. His campaign raised more than $220 million for medical research into amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), more commonly known as Lou Gehrig's disease. The Ice Bucket Challenge went viral on social media in 2014.
