Cognizant appoints Vodafone executive Brian Humphries as CEO

Cognizant on Wednesday said it has appointed Vodafone Business' head Brian Humphries as the company's new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). This is the first time the US-based IT services company has selected an outsider to be at the helm of the company. Humphries will replace Francisco D'Souza, who co-founded Cognizant and has served as its CEO since 2007.
