Cognizant says it fired 6% employees in Q2 due to failed background checks
Cognizant India has revealed that they had a 6% involuntary attrition in the quarter ended September. The company's India head Rajesh Nambiar said the high involuntary attrition was due to failed background checks. "They don't have the right background to continue in that role. We have no tolerance for anyone who doesn't clear background checks," he mentioned.
